Reading the guides
Cut lineThe fabric edge. Extend your art all the way to the canvas edge, past this line, so no white slivers survive sewing.
Seam lineRoughly 1 cm disappears into the stitching. Nothing important should sit between the seam and the cut line.
Safe areaKeep faces, hands and text inside this box, 3 cm in from the cut line. Everything here survives printing and sewing.
How to use them
  1. Open the PSD in Photoshop, Clip Studio, Krita or Procreate, or drop the transparent PNG on top of your own canvas at full size.
  2. Paint or place your art on the art layer. Fill it to the canvas edge; every template already includes 1.5 cm of bleed on each side.
  3. A dakimakura has two sides. Duplicate the file and make one canvas per side, or reuse the same art for both.
  4. Hide the guide layer, then export a PNG or high-quality JPG at full pixel size. Never downscale.
  5. Upload each side in the custom body pillow customizer. The live resolution check confirms your file prints crisp.
